To stay competitive in the blogging industry, content creators and influencers have to stay up to speed with what's trending and yielding best results. Here are five platforms leading the pack!

You don't have to be on all the social platforms, but you should understand the best way to leverage them. Here's a few specific strategies to win at social!
Pinterest Story Pins
Story pins are still in early access. Meaning, if you have access, use the feature and you'll likely be rewarded! Pinterest Story Pins are a great way to share photos or video clips from newly published or seasonally relevant content. Check out my recent pins here!
Instagram Reels
By now we all have probably heard of Instagram and Facebook Reels! These short-format videos are leading some accounts to literally go viral overnight. To set yourself up for success, make sure to follow all the best practices. Add text, use trending sounds, include all relevant info in the caption, use targeted hashtags!
Facebook Groups
For years, users have been able to create public, private, or secret FB groups. They are incredible for nurturing your audience and converting top fans. Think of why your audience sees you as a resource. Do you provide approachable recipes, share great deals and sales, or provide insightful travel tips? Base your group off your expertise!
Google Web Stories
These slideshow type of stories are seriously powerful traffic sources for bloggers. Check mine out here! They are full-screen tappable pages that tell a full story through video, images, animation, and text. Create them using the free WordPress plugin or mobile app Jumprope.

YouTube Shorts
YouTube Shorts are starting to really take off and channels can see great success when their videos get shown in the “Shorts shelf”. These vertical videos can be up to 60 seconds in length and depending on the duration include cards and an end screen, prompting viewers to continue watching. You can see my #Shorts here!
